BIOGRAPHY
I started training martial arts at the age of 15. My first martial art was JKD/Kali with some Silat also. And that was under Sifu Mark Balluff. He exposed me to many different concepts and different ways of doing things. He always encouraged me to look at other arts and see what they do and exposed me to many different styles though our training sessions.
I went on to study other martial arts such as Tai Mantis under Sifu Mike M, Hung Gar under Sifu Donald H. It was during that time I was introduced to silat via Honorary Guru Cliff S. After having him demonstrate to me and on me the effectiveness of the art, I was in love and have been every since.
It has been 20 plus years of study and training in the art of Bukti Negara, I was given the status of full Guru on May 20th 2016. I continue to teach and train in the art now in Bay Area. And also teach at the Headquarters in Los Angeles Ca. At either location please feel free to come through and train with us.
